Hiking Sedona

If it’s is your first time hiking in Sedona we recommend knocking the two most popular hikes off the list first. Cathedral Rock and Devil’s Bridge are the most popular for a reason. They take you to some of the most awe inspiring natural landscapes in the world. These hikes do require some scrambling and you’ll want to bring more water than you usually would because with the dry air, hot temps, and high elevation it’s better to be safe than dehydrated. Once you’ve conquered those hikes the real fun begins!

Beginner

Bell Rock Trail - Perfect introduction to Sedona Trails. A quick .8 mile out and back. You’ll be able to choose your own adventure when you get to Bell Rock but be aware, sometimes it’s easier to go up than down. Be sure to save some energy for the return hike!

Intermediate

Soldiers Pass - See the Seven Sacred Pools, visit the Devils Kitchen, or go explore further to find the Soldiers Pass secret cave. Easily an adventure you won’t forget!

Advanced

Bear Mountain - If you came here to get your blood pumping then this one is for you! While catching your breath you’ll be able to look out at one of the best views of Sedona!

North Wilson Mountain Trail - A breathtaking hike that has views of
Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon and the San Francisco Peak in Flagstaff. Get here early the parking lot is tiny so it’s hard to find a spot.
